Improvement
We’ve made several updates to improve clarity and consistency in digital receipts:
Item Price Display: Item prices no longer reflect discounts by default. Individual item discounts are still displayed below each item.
Sub-total Calculation: Sub-totals now exclude cart discounts by default for better alignment with merchant preferences.
Tax Line Fix: Resolved an issue where returns and exchanges showed duplicate tax lines for the same rate when returning multiple items with the same tax rate simultaneously.
Variation Name Display: Removed duplicate content by no longer showing the variation name underneath the main item title.

Improvement
This change provides clarity for merchants on how the value is derived. Specifically, the “Verbleibender Kassenbestand” field reflects the amount of cash left in the register at the end of a session, as reported by Shopify’s “closingBalance” API field. By renaming the label, we aim to reduce confusion, as the counted cash value during the session closing on POS has been replaced by the amount left in the drawer. This adjustment ensures the label aligns intuitively with Shopify’s payment tracking mechanics.
