Before you fiscalize your register in OpenFiskal, it’s important to make sure you’ve selected the correct register. The register ID in Shopify POS must match the ID shown in OpenFiskal exactly.
How to find the register ID in Shopify POS
Open the Shopify POS app on your device and log in with your user account.
If you’re using Shopify POS on a tablet, tap the “Register” icon at the bottom left of the home screen.
On a smartphone, tap the three dots in the bottom right corner and then tap “Register”.
The register ID will be shown under “Sales register”.
🔍 Compare this ID with the register ID displayed in OpenFiskal before continuing.
Why is this important?
Since 2025, a legal reporting obligation has been in place — which means: Misconfiguration can lead to extra work, additional costs, or legal issues.
